Introducing Velata, a simple way to enjoy Scentsy Fondue in your home.  With 14 different fondue warmers to choose from and 4 DELICIOUS chocolates, this is going to liven up a party for sure!!

It's a simple dish that has a patent-pending technology to keep the chocolate at exactly the right temperature. A metal plate wrapped in silicone absorbs the heat from the 25-watt bulb. The silicone keeps the heat from escaping, prevents the chocolate from scorching, and can go from the refrigerator to the microwave to the dishwasher with ease!

What is Sincerely Scent?

Sincerely Scent is a new line of products from Scentsy Inc. that will be available sometime in April 2012. These cards can be designed for birthdays, mother’s day, sympathy, encouragement, grandparent’s day, anniversaries, and MANY MORE occasions. Additionally, like all Scentsy products they will come with a fabulous fragrance.  

It is no secret that fragrances and smells help enhance memories and now the fragrance experience has been brought to cards! What better way to help someone to remember an occasion than to give them a Sincerely Scent card from Scentsy?!?!

According to the Greeting Card Association, Americans purchase 7 billion greeting cards every year resulting in over $7.5 billion in sales.  To break this down a bit further the average person receives 20 cards per year and sends out on average 30.  This includes, seasonal and every day cards.

Who will want Sincerely Scent cards?

Pretty much ANYONE and EVERYONE who uses cards! Here are some ideas of people who could use Sincerely Scent cards:

How Do They Work?

This is the beauty of it….You don’t have to mail the card yourself! Simply login to the Sincerely Scent cards website at http://www.sincerelyscent.com, register your FREE account and buy credits for your account. You’ll then use those credits to buy your cards. The cards sent out with a custom message, picture, and even you own handwriting, plus fragrance of your choice from the Favorites Fragrance category. 

Sincerely Scent cards can even be ordered and scheduled to be mailed out up to 364 days in advance!! These cards are delivered via First-Class to addresses in the US, Puerto Rico, Guam, and to APO/FPO boxes.  Mail can take 2 to 5 business days to arrive and the cards are sent by First-Class International Mail to Canada, which can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.  Please schedule your cards to allow for sufficient delivery time.

Pricing

All pricing includes personalization, full-color printing, envelope, postage, and handling!! The only thing not included in the price is sales tax.  Sincerely Scent will use a pre-paid bundle system and 1 mailed card equals one credit.

·         10 Credits cost $28.50

·         25 Credits cost $71.25

·         100 Credits cost $285.00

This means that every card available for purchase through Sincerely Scent will cost ONLY $2.85.  WOW!!! I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time finding a good card for less than $5, plus then I still have pay to have it mailed out…THIS IS A HUGE MONEY SAVER on sending cards out!!

Even more exciting…Sincerely Scent credit bundles and be purchased using Host FREE products Rewards from hosting a Scentsy Party!! However, the bundles cannot be purchased using Host Half-Price Rewards

Where You Can Find Them?

They will be available sometime in April. You will not see them in the spring summer Scentsy catalogs. You will be able to order them from the link on my Scentsy Website.

More Details about the Cards!

It looks like they are going to be highly customizable. You will be able to upload pictures and have them printed on the cards and you will be able to add a personal message. Different fonts for your message will likely be available. The cards will be available in English and Spanish.

The cards themselves will come with “Scent Spot” that’s infused with fragrance that you choose, from the Favorites Category. It is required that you do choose a scent spot to be included with the card. A scent barrier envelope included with the card that will help prevent the card from losing fragrance potency. If the card is opened around the time it is received there will be no issue with a lack of fragrance. On the other hand, I wouldn’t expect the fragrance to last forever. If you are the type of person to keep a birthday card for years and years then don’t expect the smell to hang around.

The overall system works like this. You buy Sincerely Scent credits for a low price with a minimum order of 10 cards. You can then login to the system and add / import contacts. From there you use one credit at a time and setup a card with a specific scent and message. Here is the cool part. You can schedule your cards to go out on a specific date. This means that you can build a special card for someone months ahead of the occasion and have Scentsy send it out so it arrives right on (or very near) the specified date! I can EASILY think of 10 people (or more!) that I would send a birthday/anniversary card to using this system, program it in and be done for the year with all my birthday cards!!

One thing to note, the credits you buy must be used within one year of purchasing them. Given that there is no discount for buying in bulk and you can schedule them to be sent out 364 days in advance, this should not be much of an issue.

Have you seen Wellington the Duck?? He’s the newest Scentsy buddy and the special for March 2012. 

He’s super cute with a fuzzy head and with arms textured a lot like Roarbert the Lion’s arms. He is wearing a cute little rain coat (that’s totally removable) and has little black beady eyes. Come rain or shine, he is ready to greet you with a smile and JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER!!  Wellington (or any of the buddies) would make a great addition to any Easter basket or even as a standalone gift.

By now you should have a big dent in making progress on your New Year’s resolutions. We’re now into March and over 2 months have gone by…but are you still sticking to them?

Something I’ve learned is that you want to set your goals appropriately. Your goals should be something to motivate you, not discourage you. When you goals are set to low then you are not pushing hard enough. When they are set to high then they bring you down because they are unattainable for you at this time.

Is 2012 going to be YOUR year to make progress on your goals?  Are your goals related to paying off debt, paying bills on time, rather than always being late on something, getting a new car, or achieving finical freedom?!?  Maybe, it’s finding a more rewarding career, getting out and meeting new people or giving you a platform to share your love and excitement for a product you love? Or what about taking that vacation, second (or even your first) honeymoon??

March first rings in the Spring / Summer collection from Scentsy. There have been a lot of exciting new updates to the Scentsy line up this season.

There has also been the standard change out of fall / winter scents with spring and summer scents. Details on these fragrances were highlighted in an earlier post.  CLICK HERE to read all about them and see my personal option of them!
