Silhouette Wraps and Candle Warmer Collection

This has got to be one of the coolest collections Scentsy has ever come out with – The Silhouette Wraps Collection! It’s a really cool idea to offer a simple, porcelain Full-Size Scentsy Warmer that allows light to shine through organically patterned Wraps…AWESOME!

I just love this new collection and have one of the Loom Silhouette Wraps in my bedroom, sitting in the middle of my desk. It provides a very romantic glow to my room glow, yet is not so bright I can’t sleep.

Each of the Silhouette Wraps is made of metal and can be purchased separately.  This collection allows you to have a 3-1 design that can be changed with your mood, season, or lighting needs!

Scentsy Silhouette Wraps Lili Warmer
How it works:
The cost is $40.00 to purchase a “Core” full-size warmer and then you select which of the Silhouette Wraps you’d like to go with it…Lili, Linden or Loom. You can also purchase each wrap separately for $12.00 so you can change the style out depending on your mood, season, lighting needs, etc.

Each Silhouette Wrap has a ‘cut-out’ or ‘notch’ to go on top of the Warmer’s cord.  Just slide the Silhouette Wrap on top of the warmer and turn the wamer on.  Wraps ONLY fit on the specially designed Core (You cannot purchase the warmer Core separately)

Don’t forget, these are Candle Warmers! Make each Silhouette Wrap Warmer even better by pairing it with your favorite Candle Bar Scented wax. My favorite Scent to use in my bedroom is a Meditreterrrian Spa in my Loom Silhouette Wrap.

Silhouette Wraps options:
  • Lili:  Groovy flower-power petals lend a fun and funky look to any room
  • Linden:  An outbloom of leaflets create a subtle mesmerizing pattern when lit
  • Loom:  Threads of wire-thin metal are woven into a whimsical nest

Autism Awareness Month – Piece by Piece Scentsy Warmer

Piece by Piece Scentsy Full-Size Warmer
Do you know April was Autism Awareness month?? Also, do you know Scentsy supports this cause.

Whether you are personally affected by Autism or know of anyone with autism, or not, you can LEARN MORE about this disorder.

In the Spring/Summer 2011 Catalog seasons, Scentsy introduced a special Autism Awareness warmer for Autism Speaks – Piece by Piece. With help from consultants, like me, and customers, like you, the Scentsy Family Foundation is able to donate 100% of the Net Proceeds from the sale of these warmers, to support this wonderful cause. Scentsy presented a check to Autism Speaks for $533,880.00 last September.  This amount was from the sales between March 1 and August 31, 2011, but the donation monies will continue to go to Autism Speaks for all sales of this warmer.

While these beautiful warmers are no longer listed in our catalogs, they are still available for purchase (ONLY while supplies last) in our Close-Out products for only $35.00.  The net proceeds still go towards benefiting Autism Speaks!  Colorful jigsaw pieces playfully pop out from the puzzle adorning Piece by Piece, Scentsy’s newest Charitable Cause Warmer, designed to represent the mission of Autism Speaks™.  Support this great cause and purchase your warmer today:  BUY HERE

Autism Awareness in April

The United States recognizes April as National Autism Month to educate the public about autism and issues within the autism community since the 1970s.
In December 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) in perpetuity. Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism advocacy organization, will celebrate this month with a variety of National Awareness and Fundraising Initiatives.

I personally know children and family members with children affected by this complex brain disorder, Autism.  There are various forms, types and degrees of autism.  Many of these children are in public schools and in the mainstream educational system while some need more specialized assistance. Many treatment methods are still emerging. Consider showing your support to a family affected by Autism by purchasing a warmer as a gift for them and supporting Autism Speaks.

Heroes

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Christopher Reeve

"True heroism is remarkably sober, very un-dramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others, at whatever cost."  Arthur Ashe

My 9 year old son asked me the other day if I watched the Twin Towers fall, as he was very intrigued with all the media coverage in Remembrance of 9/11. At his age and exactly 10 years after that horrific day, it is part of history. After watching many of the TV specials and learning about the events, he has realized it was a time when America was tested and heroes were born. One of the local news stations was covering a story in which surveillance footage was recovered from that day.  It showed many first responders filing into the Towers and the staff security officer holding the door open as they entered.  Instead of heading for safety in the opposite direction, as many others were doing, the young lady holding door rushed in right after last of the first responders entered.  She never left the Tower alive; she was one of the many that lost their life on that tragic day.  This selfless act to serve and protect, was very moving to my son.  My son, along with many of his fellow young Americans, has gained a new perspective of what a Hero is.

We all witnessed the heroism from 9/11, but continue to realize the special role our first responders have in all of our lives.  Whether it be in our work, community, neighborhoods, or hour homes, routine calls or in the face of horrific terror, First Responders are there to serve you and I!

Scentsy is proud to honor our every day heroes who fight to keep us safe. We have been able to honor our armed forces with the Patriot Collection, and now we give tribute to our Police Officers and Firefighters with the Hero Collection. Thank you to all of you who serve!

Scentsy Family Foundation Charitable Cause Warmer

Scentsy the Wickless Candle Company donated over $600,000 to the NBCF to help in the fight against breast cancer. Thanks to the thousands of Scentsy Consultants and customers who purchased the "Love, Life, Hope" Scentsy warmer.

The current Scentsy Family Foundation Charitable Cause Warmer is Piece by Piece to support Autism Speaks.

A beautiful message of hope, Piece by Piece will bring warmth and meaning to any room. On each side of the new Scentsy Family Foundation Charitable Cause Warmer, a single blue jigsaw piece, outlined in gold and covered in whimsical hearts, playfully pops out from the rest of the puzzle.

Sales of the warmer will benefit Autism Speaks™ which has worked since 2005 to fund global research, spread awareness, and provide hope to families whose loved ones receive this complex diagnosis. Their mission: solving the puzzle piece by piece.
